Southland Waste Exchange
A unique service that helps businesses connect their unwanted materials with new owners through a web-based and phone forum
Sort your Waste on the Web
WasteNet Southland in collaboration with Terranova Waste Exchange have established a Southland Waste Exchange. The exchange is a web-based and phone forum for businesses to list their unwanted materials and Terranova will find someone who may be interested in them.
How the Waste Exchange works
Materials Available
1. Contact TerraNova and give a description of the material you have available. Include information such as approximate volume, what the material was used for, any conditions on who has access to this material and whether you have any concerns about its end market.
2. When we find someone who may be interested we will contact you and check if we may give them your details. They will then contact you to arrange collection.
Materials Wanted
1. Check through the listings on the Waste Exchange Website - www.terranova.org.nz - or in the Recycling Works publication. If you find what you require, contact us and quote the code, give a brief description of the item and indicate the quantity required. Please explain what you plan to use this material for as quite often we can find alternative materials that may also be suitable.
2. If the materials you require are not listed, please contact Terranova and we can either advertise or search for these materials outside the Southland region.
3. Once we have sourced the materials, and the supplier has been advised, we will forward you their details so you can contact them directly to arrange collection.
