Reuse

• Leave them with the tyre company, when you get new ones
• Can be made into planter boxes
• Cut in half and use underneath a 'sea-saw'
• Can be rammed with earth and used to build retaining walls
• Tyre swings
• Tractor tyres make great sandpits

Disposal

If you are unable to reuse the unwanted tyres, the next best practical option is disposal to the regional landfill through your local transfer station. The regional landfill has been built to a high environmental design standard making the risk of leaching signicantly lower than your own farm or home landfill.
