You can reduce the need for plastic wrap by:

  • Place food in a resealable container or resealable bag
  • Wrap food in cooking paper. Used cooking paper can be recycled in your compost bin or worm farm

Recycle

Plastic food wrap can be recycled. 

How do I recycle it?
  • Remove all food waste
  • Gather up the clean pieces and mould into a ball shape
  • When you have a ball the size of a tennis ball, place it in the yellow recycling bin.
