You can reduce and even eliminate the need for a pizza box

• Make your own home-made pizza. 
• Ring your local pizza store and ask if they allow you to use your own container

Reuse

Pizza boxes are not recyclable, as cheese and grease stick to the box, contaminating the paper.   Pizza boxes are compostable, and even can be torn up and feed to your worm farm.

Disposal

If you cannot reduce or compost your pizza box the next best practical option is disposal to regional landfill through your local refuse collection service.
