Wooden or timber pallets

Pallets or skids are a rectangle structure that supports goods and products being lifted by a forklift or pallet jack.  Goods are placed on the pallet and secured with shrink wrap or strapping and transported to its destination.   Most pallets are made from wood, but pallets can also be made from recycled plastic or metal.

You can reduce the need to dispose of wood pallets by returning them to the supplier.

  • Carefully dismantle the pallet and rebuild into a raised garden
  • Carefully dismantle pallet and cut up for kindling
