Let your imagination run wild and use fabrics, bags, newspaper, magazines, old sheet music, childrens art work for alternatives to traditional wrapping paper.

If you prefer to traditionally wrap gifts in wrapping paper, avoid the "foil" gift wrapping products, as these papers cannot be recycled.

Reuse

By carefully unwrapping the gift, it could be kept to wrap another present.

Recycle

'Paper' wrapping paper can be recycled.   'Foil' wrapping paper cannot be recycled. 

How do I recycle it?

• Flatten and fold up the wrapping paper

• Recycle drop off centre - in the bin labelled paper

Disposal

'Foil' gift wrap cannot be recycled.  If you cannot reduce or reuse it, the next best option is disposal to landfill through you local rubbish collection service.
