Clean Up Southland
Tonnes of rubbish ends up in our regions rivers, streams, parks, beaches and coastline every year.
Clean Up Southland started in the late 1990's when local Councils signed up as partners to Clean Up the World. Over a decade later, Clean Up Southland, held in conjuction with Keep New Zealand Beautiful Week, mobilises an estimated 1,000 volunteers from throughout Southland to clean up, fix up and conserve our environment.
